Polytested tests AI and software tools with real tasks in English, German, French and Spanish, and publishes what we measure.
Why four languages
Most reviews test in English. But a voice that sounds natural in English can stumble over German numbers, and a workflow that runs smoothly with English data can break on French dates. Prices change from country to country, and in Europe it matters where your data is stored. So we test in your language: the output, the price where you live, the local alternatives and where your data ends up.
What every test page gives you
- One real task, the same for every tool.
- Results for each of the four languages, measured separately.
- Scores calculated from those measurements. Nobody types a score by hand.
- Prices from the vendor's own pricing page, with the date we checked them.
- The raw measurements as a CSV download.
Who it is for
Solo founders, freelancers and teams of up to 20 people who need tools that work in their language.
Who is behind it
Polytested is run by Şükrü Çelik, an independent software developer with hands-on training in computer engineering and modern full-stack web architecture, focusing on cloud systems and AI (LLM) integrations. Şükrü runs the tests, judges tools on technical criteria such as data privacy, integration and real-world performance rather than marketing claims, and approves every page before it goes live.
Each German, French and Spanish page is checked by a native-speaker editor, who is named on the page.
How we use AI
AI tools help us research, draft and translate. The measurements, screenshots and ratings come from people using the tools, and a person reviews and approves every page. Details: Editorial policy.
How the site is funded
Polytested is free to read. We fund it with advertising and, for some tools, affiliate links. Neither changes a score, because scores are calculated from our measurements. Details: Affiliate disclosure and How we test.
